Ruby’s 16th Birthday celebration - 7 months late!

Jen, Ruby and I arrived in New York ready for an action packed six days, lots of things on our to-see list.  I had promised Ruby we’d get here eventually so summer seemed like a great time to do it.

We stayed at the Warwick Hotel which was super convenient for us, just a few blocks from Central Park and also Time Square, as well as Bryant Park.  

Transportation took many forms including plane, bus, ferry, rowboat, boat, pedi-cab and of course Uber.

Empire State Building, sunset cruise on the Hudson River, funny pedi-can driver in Central Park, wonderful show on Broadway about Romeo and Juliet that had a different ending,  MOMA museum, so many memories!

We capped the trip off with a dinner celebration at Tavern on the Green at Central Park, what a wonderful trip my dear girls, I love you! 🥰 

Indian Wells Tennis

 Palm Desert Days

We flew down to watch the big tennis tournament here and enjoy more sun, although a few of Ted’s favourite players weren’t here.  

We thoroughly enjoyed the nearby Airbnb apartment we stayed at, it was a short Uber ride back and forth to the venue.  Beautiful stadium, grounds and weather - and Alcaraz won! 🏆

We’ve had a wonderful stay on the Big Island, and are so thankful to be able to enjoy times like this!

Week Three

We manage to fill the days here with no problem of wondering what to do.  Some golf, some tennis, some beach trips, happy hours at home and dinners out.

Halfway

We’re just over halfway through our time here and it feels good, not rushed.  There’s been lots of great beach and pool days, happy hours at each others places and dinners out.

Valentine’s Dinner

We splurged and went to the Canoe House at the newly renovated Mauna Lani Hotel and it was very good!

         The end of a beautiful evening…
