A Serendipity

Today we decided to look for two trails, the trail to Clam Bay and also to the Ogden Point Lookout.  I'll admit that I'm not the best at map reading, or giving directions - so we ended up at a spot called "Hope Bay".

(I love the name!)

We walked out onto the dock and the seagulls were huge!  I'm not sure if it's because I'm usually not that close to them or if they are actually bigger here.
Check them out on top of the posts.

The restaurant here - fabulous.  We had a table at the window that was directly over the water, plus wonderful fresh homemade food, great Cab Sav, and it came with a pair of binoculars at our table!

(see the 'Captain' in the background?)

Aside from the unexpected 'side trip' we took, we did find Ogden Point, as well as 'Found Rd' trail to access the beach at Clam Bay.

The ferns in the forest trail were huge, as well as the mossy areas - we were sure that Yoda was in there somewhere....

Tomorrow morning we pack up to come home, it's been a great week!

(Next time maybe a 3 hour cruise Gilligan?)

Goodbye Currents at Otter Bay!
