Boards

Everywhere you look there are a variety of 'boards' on the Island, and we had fun the last couple of days trying out a few of them:

Paddle Boards

 

At the Mauna Lani Resort beach Derrick rented a paddle board and so we gave it a whirl, it's the perfect calm bay to do a little paddling.  Derrick and Sue were first up to show the rest of us how it's done.

Boogie Boards

We like to go to the beach when the waves are a couple of feet high so that there's some surf to boogie board in.  Gary watches the surf report for us and so when he advised there would be waves at Hapuna that were about the right size we got our beach gear and went.

Beach camp - after the water fun it's all about relaxing, burgers and hot dogs from the concession, and soaking up the sun.
