Mauna Kea
We knew that we wanted to spend our last beach day at Mauna Kea - what we didn't know was that it would be a Red Flag day, waves were up to six feet high.
This meant the lifeguards were very busy today, we saw at least five rescues of people who were out far beyond their abilities. It's a bit stressful even watching them!

Ted had a great ride for his first one of the day, and several more afterwards. I went out on the boogie board a few times but the under currents and strong surf was too much for me today. We'll definitely remember this day at the beach!
