Not Fun
We have both been sick for a while now with an unending terrible cough and sinus congestion. Ted says he turned the corner yesterday and is marginally better.
I on the other hand felt worse, and my ears have been so plugged for the past five days that I can hardly hear.

Yesterday afternoon I drove a half hour to Waimea and went to see a doctor. She couldn't believe my bulging ear drums and my throat was so red that she figured I probably had strep throat as well as the sinus congestion.
Cost: $150 for the visit, $30 for the strep test. I left there with a prescription for a strong antibiotic, one for Prednisone, and one for an inhaler.
After filling the prescriptions at the drug store there (another $150) I came home and hit the couch, where I plan to stay all day today as well. Hopefully the meds will knock this infection out of me, I've got to be better before all the family arrive!
