Tradition

First Night

One of the traditions that has developed over the years is that we usually go to Lava Lava on both our first night and last night here.  This was the first night the whole family was here so of course we headed over for some fun.

Ladder ball, bean bag toss, ping pong, lots of games on the grassy area 

Spot It game - 'Finding Nemo' version is very popular, and the dice game 'Nusht'

I think one of the reasons why we like it so much  is that it's such a relaxed place to sit in the sun by the ocean, tell stories, listen to the live music, play games and just chill....

We usually get in a beach walk as well, throwing rocks and looking for fish and turtles.

Last Night

It was Ken and Shirley's last night, and their friends were leaving later in the evening so we bid them a fond farewell.

We've got another two weeks on the Big Island and I'm sure we'll be back at our special spot at least once more!
