Eight Months Ago...
Everyone who knows Ted knows that when he takes an interest in something he isn't half-hearted about it - he's all in! For the past five years he's been particularly passionate about tennis, so last Fall as I thought about how to surprise him for his 60th birthday I remembered Wimbledon.
We had watched the movie 'Bucket List' around then and so it occurred to me that this would be the perfect time to plan a trip to see both the French Open and Wimbledon. In December at his birthday party I surprised him by playing a video I'd made for him which had photos from his/our youth, family pics, and also video clips of the action at Wimbledon and the French Open. He was overwhelmed, and we've been looking forward to it - well today is the day we start on our Bucket List Trip!
