This morning we started out after breakfast with the thought that it was going to be a very easy walking day. As it turned out we did see some lovely spots along the way but it took us about twice as long as we thought it would. The whole Camino Way is marked with the symbol of the shell, either as a ceramic tile embedded into a wall, a stone marker, the pathway, painted onto the pathways, or sometimes it's simply a yellow arrow pointing in the direction you should go.

Traditional shell points the direction to turn. |
One thing we've learned is that everybody seems to grow their own grapes, grape arbors abound.
At this resting bench we met an older woman doing the walk alone, she was sitting enjoying the sunshine and asked if we would take her picture which we happily did - in turn she took ours.
We came around the bend in a little hamlet and there was this beautiful display of gourds set up for everyone to enjoy as they passed by.
After a rather long afternoon of us leaving the marked route in search of our B&B that was out of the way of the Camino trail we finally reached it, after getting directions from several different local people along the way. We finally ended up having to call the B&B and the gentleman came and picked us up and we were quite far away from where we thought we were!
