Camino Portugues - Ultralight

Last night after a journey of plane, bus and taxi travel to get here we arrived at our hotel which sits on the edge of a creek in the small old town of Caldas de Reis.  We checked in and then walked across the little bridge to a little restaurant for a late supper.

We have been sightseeing and taking in everything we can in the big cities of Paris and Lisbon, now it's time for a change of pace.  Today we begin our hike from Caldas de Reis to Santiago de Compostela, which we'll do at a very leisurely pace over the next three days.  I have been really looking forward to this day, and it looks like a good day to start as it looks like great walking weather.
